Schedule Your Time
You might have covered the entire syllabus however it is still suggested to schedule your time for the remaining days so as to make the most of the time left. Set a time for revising your chapters, giving mock tests and working on your weak areas. Also make sure you know just what you need to give a quick glance to on the morning of the exam.
Eating junk food such as oily, fried and sugary items can hamper proper functioning of your body and increase your stress and anxiety levels. On the other hand, a well-balanced diet including nutritious food such as fresh fruits, green vegetables, pulses, cereals, nuts, milk and yogurt keeps you healthy and helps you concentrate better on your studies. So follow a healthy diet plan all through the preparation period and also ensure that you do not have junk or processed food just before the exam. Have a bowl of cereal clubbed with some fresh fruits before going for the exam.
Lack of sleep is yet another cause of anxiety and depression. It is thus essential to take a proper 8 hours sleep every night. It is suggested to sleep and wake up at the same time each day. Also make sure you sleep well on time the night before the exam.
It is suggested to squeeze in some time for meditation each day. This is a sure shot way to release stress and boost your confidence level. Squeeze in around 10-15 minutes in the morning before the exam for meditation.
Steer Clear from Negative Talks
Do not indulge in any kind of negative discussion with your friends especially on the day of the exam. This will only make you panic and raise your anxiety level. Stay calm and try to spend some quite time with yourself before the exam begins. Better still take a few slow and deep breaths.
Lastly, remind yourself that you are well-prepared for the exam and can handle any question asked in the paper. Remember, your attitude can drive your performance to a great extent.
