JEE Main 2015 (Paper 1) exam was held in the pen-andpaper based mode or offline mode on April 4, 2015 – from 9 am to 12:30 pm – for admission to BE and B.Tech courses in the participating colleges. This exam is conducted by Central Board ofSecondary Education
(CBSE)every year. About 13 lakh students are scheduledto take the exam this year across India.
The paper consists of 3 parts – Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. There were 90 questions in the JEE Main paper which were of 360 marks in total. Four marks are allotted for every correct answer.

Difficulty Level Analysis: No of Questions
This was the most scoring section in the exam. But since most JEE aspirants pay little attention to the subject, they had difficulty in solving the question.
This was the toughest section of the exam and students took much time to solve all the numericals.
This section was the easiest of the 3 sections in the exam. Though, it was a bit time-consuming which was expected.

10 questions were asked from each of the 3 major branches of Chemistry:
·         Physical Chemistry,
·         Inorganic Chemistry,
·         Organic Chemistry.
So, the question paper was well-balanced with no favour to any particular branch of the subject.
