AP EAMCET-2018 Eligibility Criteria, Exam Date

ap-eamcet 2018Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET ) is conducted each year to select students for undergraduate programmes in engineering colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The examination is conducted on the behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). AP EAMCET 2018 shall be conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada.

AP EAMCET 2018 Eligibility Criteria

AP EAMCET  eligibility criteria has been defined by JNTU, Kakinada. Here is a look at the same:

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India or should belong to Persons of India Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) (card holders) category.
  • Candidate must belong to the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana. He must satisfy the local status as per Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions order, 1974.
  • Candidate must have cleared or appeared for Class 12th exams with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as mandatory subjects.
  • Candidate must be 16 years of age on Dec 31, 2018 in order to be eligible for admission to B. Tech or B.E. courses.
  • No upper age limit has been set for the candidates.
  • Candidates opting for B. Tech in Dairy Technology, Agricultural Engineering and FS&T must be 17 years of age as on Dec 31st The upper age limit for these candidates is 22 years. Those belonging to the SC and ST categories must be 25 years old.

  • Mock Test for AP EAMCET : Feb 2018 third week
  • Application form last date: March 2018 third week
  • Application correction window: March 2018 fourth week to April 2018 first week
  • Online application last date with late fee of Rs. 500: March 2018 fourth week
  • Online application last date with late fee of Rs. 1000: April 2018 second week
  • Online application last date with late fee of Rs. 5000: April 2018 third week
  • Admit Card Release: April 2018 third week
  • Online application last date with late fee of Rs. 10,000: April 2018 fourth week
  • AP EAMCET 2018 exam: 22nd to 25th April 2018
  • AP EAMCET 2018 Preliminary Answer Key: April 2018 fourth week
  • Last Date to filing objections on AP EAMCET Preliminary Answer Key: May 2018 first week
  • AP EAMCET 2018 Final Answer Key: May 2018 first week
  • AP EAMCET 2018 Result Declaration: May 2018 first week
  • AP EAMCET 2018 Rank card availability: May 2018 second week
  • AP EAMCET 2018 counselling: June 2018 first week
