JEE Advanced 2017 Exam Date

While you all may be busy preparing for Joint Entrance Examination (Main) [JEE Main], the Central Board of Secondary Education has announced the date for Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) [JEE Advanced] 2017. The exam shall be conducted on the 21st of May 2017. Paper 1 will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon and Paper 2 shall be held between 2 pm and 5 pm on the same day. Both the papers are compulsory. The examination date would not be changed even if the day is declared a public holiday for some reason. Read on to find out about the other important dates/ details related to the examination.
JEE Advanced 2017 shall be held by seven zonal IITs guided by the Joint Admission Board (JAB) 2017. A candidate’s performance in this exam will be the deciding factor for his admission in the Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree programs in the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). JAB’s decisions would be final in all the matters pertaining to JEE Advanced 2017 as well as admission to IITs.

  • Online registration for JEE Advanced 2017 will begin from 28th April 2017 and end on 2nd May.
  • Registration with late fee can be done on 3rd and 4th May 2017.
  • Admission cards can be downloaded from the 10th to the 21st of May 2017.
  • Optical Response Sheet (ORS) of the candidates will be available online from 31st of May to 3rd June 2017.
  • Answer keys will be available online on 4th June 2017.
  • Feedback and comments on answer keys from the candidates shall be entertained from 4th June to 6th June 2017.
  • JEE Advanced result shall be declared on 11th June 2017.
