Based on the inquiry report of Haryana police, the had cancelled the exam and directed CBSE to conduct it again. The board had initially claimed that no leak happened. As many as 700 students received answer keys through mobile phones during the exam held on May 3, out which four members of the gang from the city were nabbed by a police team under the supervision of Rohtak range inspector Shrikant Jadhav. The police have not been informed about the reasons and is neither aware of the student’s centre for the re-examination, this time. The candidates who will appear for the AIPMT will be receiving details such as centre of examination and roll numbers through E-mail and SMS.
The authorities had also curtailed the number of centres for the recent National Eligibility Test (NET) and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) examination at Rohtak. The students at the Rohtak centre are now expected to give their re-test at the Delhi center.
