Given below is an example of how to convert CGPA to percentage:
Let’s assume a student scored:
Subject 1 – 9
Subject 2 – 10
Subject 3 – 9
Subject 4 – 7.5
Subject 5 – 8
Summing up the grade points of the subjects, the resultant would be: 9+8+7.5+9+10 = 43.5
Divide the sum with the total number of subjects: 43.5 / 5 = 8.7
The CGPA of the student will be 8.7.
To calculate the approx percentage through the CGPA you will be required to multiply the CGPA by 9.5.
that would be, 9.7 x 9.5 = 82.65%
So, according to the rough estimate the approx percentage of the students would be 82.65%.
