Here is the JEE Advanced 2015 Exam Analysis:
The Joint Entrance Examination in the new format of JEE Advanced was held on 24th May 2015. 1, 50,000 students who have cleared JEE Main conducted in April 2015 are eligible for taking JEE Advanced examination for nearly 10,000 seats in 16 IITs. JEE Advanced was an offline examination.
There were 10 versions for JEE Advanced 0 to 9.
JEE Advanced 2015 is divided into two parts – Paper 1 and 2.Paper1 had 60 questions in total for 264 marks in the order of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Each subject had 3 sections with 20 questions in total and the pattern was exactly the same for all the subjects.
Overall Marks Distribution
In Paper, I & II both, Total 60 Questions were asked. 20 Questions from Each Subject were asked. The first paper was of 264 marks while paper two was of 240 marks. Each subject was of 168 marks overall. Total marks for both paper combined were 504. Total 196 marks questions were from class 11 syllabus and 308 marks questions were from class 12 syllabus.
