JEE Main 2019: Application Form, Exam Date, Syllabus and Eligibility

JEE Main 2019.

JEE Main 2019, the national level engineering entrance test, shall be held by NTA (National Testing Agency). The examination shall test engineering aspirants on their knowledge in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The candidates who manage to clear this exam shall be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2019 and would also be eligible for admission to engineering and architecture courses in some of the best engineering colleges in the country. JEE Main 2019 Application Form

JEE Main 2019 application form shall be released in the 1st week of December 2018. Here is the mandate for JEE Main 2019 registration:

  • Adhaar card is mandatory for filling the application form
  • Application form can only be filled online.
  • Scanned images of passport size photograph and signature of the candidate’s father/ mother/ guardian need to be uploaded with the application form. Images must be in JPG or JPEG format.
  • Application fee can be paid via credit or debit card. It can also be paid via e-challan of Syndicate/ Canara/ ICICI Bank. The fee is non-refundable.

JEE Main 2019 Exam Date

Here are the tentative dates for JEE Main 2019:

  • Availability of Application Form: 1st September 2018
  • Availability of Mock Test: 8th September 2018
  • Last Date for Submission of Application: 30th September 2018
  • Last date for fee payment & image uploading: 1st October 2018
  • An announcement of allotted exam date & shift: 5th October 2018
  • Correction Period of Application Form: 8th – 14th October 2018
  • Admit Card Release: 17th December 2018
  • Exam Date (Paper-1): January 9, 10, 11 and 12
  • Exam Date (Paper-2): 8th January 2019
  • Display of OMR Sheet & Answer Key: To be notified
  • Result/AIR Declaration (Paper 1): 31st January 2019
  • Counselling Registration: June 2019 3rd week

For April 2019 Exam:

  • Availability of Application Form: 8th February 2019
  • Availability of Mock Test: February 2019
  • Last Date for Submission of Application: 7th March 2019
  • Last date for fee payment & image uploading: 8th March 2019
  • An announcement of allotted exam date & shift: 5th October 2018
  • Correction Period of Application Form: 8th – 14th October 2018
  • Admit Card Release: 18th March 2019
  • Exam Date: 6th – 20th April 2019
  • Result/AIR Declaration (Paper 1): 30th April 2019

JEE Main 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Here is the eligibility criterion for JEE Main 2019:

  • The candidate must be born on or after 1st October 1994.
  • The candidates belonging to the SC/ ST and PwD category must be born on or after 1st October 1989.
  • Candidate must have cleared 10+2 or equivalent exam in 2017 or 2018
  • Candidates appearing for 10+2 or equivalent exam in 2019 may also apply
  • There is no minimum mark criterion to apply for JEE Main 2019.
  • Candidates must have Physics Mathematics and Language as mandatory subjects in 10+2. In addition to this, they must have either Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or Technical Vocational Subject and one more (any) subject in 10+2.

  1. I am preparing for giving JEE Mains Exam this year. A big thank you for sharing the Important Topics, I will focus more on these topics.

    This year NTA is conducting the exam so I don’t know how much changes will be there in the exam format.

    Chances of giving the exam twice is a big opportunity for all the students who are appearing this year. Hope this turns out well.

    I want to enroll in Thapar Institute in the Mechatronics branch, as I have heard that this is the best branch of engineering and have a great scope. I am from Punjab and would prefer to get admission in Punjab only. What is the minimum JEE score required to get the admission in Thapar and how many seats they have in Mechatronics stream?
